Dinner the other night at Claire's Kitchen - I loved the black and white decor and the food was amazing!

05.06.2012

I think I'm officially getting old. I didn't go out on Saturday night, opting to go out to a decedent desert cafe with my friend, then woke up on Sunday feeling fresh. So fresh that I decided to spend the day with my parents. It actually turned out to be one of the best Sundays I've had in awhile. We started the afternoon with a late lunch of pizza and antipasto a Ventunos in Walsh Bay. This was followed by a stroll around The Rock's markets and a trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Then we met my brother for hot chocolate and desert, ending the day with the Vivid Light Show. If this is getting old I think Im embracing it head on from now on!

03.06.2012

It is officially Winter here in Sydney. The mornings are getting icier and icier and the sky is getting dark earlier and earlier. I have been pretty lax with the blogging this week, it's been a crazy week - some pretty exciting stuff is happening right now. Exciting but scary....I'll say more when I know everything is certain (cryptic I know). Anyway to make up for my lack of posts this week and lack of time to take any actual outfit photos, here is my week in summary.

Bally heels on Monday, cheesecake on Friday, tan coat and stripes on Wednesday, Saturday brunch at my favourite cafe (my little taste of Greek for the week), Corporate dressing on Tuesday (well as corporate as I get), coffee and retail fix on Saturday, and our ice cream dinner last night.

Another weekend almost gone. Although it didn't really feel like a weekend as I worked all of Saturday! But not in my normal job I did some stylist work on a shoot and loved it! It was 9 hours of standing but I could've gone for another two more. Plus we were shooting in the Sofitel which was a pretty great location, the outside terrace makes you feel a bit like your in New York. Celebrated a successful shoot by meeting my friend for dumplings and also checking out part of Sydney's vivid festival. After a nice brunch today with a group of friends I am taking it very easy before the grind of work begins again!
