Another weekend almost gone. Although it didn't really feel like a weekend as I worked all of Saturday! But not in my normal job I did some stylist work on a shoot and loved it! It was 9 hours of standing but I could've gone for another two more. Plus we were shooting in the Sofitel which was a pretty great location, the outside terrace makes you feel a bit like your in New York. Celebrated a successful shoot by meeting my friend for dumplings and also checking out part of Sydney's vivid festival. After a nice brunch today with a group of friends I am taking it very easy before the grind of work begins again!

Friday work lunch - tapas and cocktails, followed by a walk through the beautiful Surry Hills. Was a great way to unwind after a stressful day.

Long day working tomorrow on a photo shoot so off to bed for me!

Completely contrasting outfits this week, started on Monday in my Nicole Farhi vintage tweed jacket, with my suede tights and boots, very english country! 

Today however I pulled out my old Ralph Lauren bright purple knit with my new black skirt and tights, completely opposite to Monday!

Perfect cosy Sunday today, cold and rainy weather and no plans. I had a late breakfast today with my dad, which was nice as we don't often spend one on one time together. I have had a very family orientated weekend, with my godparents coming over for dinner last night. Today's outfit reflected the weather, black, grey and comfortable.

This week has been super busy! It's also been super cold. I'm always tempted when it's cold to wear the same thing; leather jacket, T Shirt, jeans and boots. I tried this week to try and mix it up a bit. I wore the new shirt I bought last week with a plain black skirt, black stockings and loafers.

My dad travels a lot and when he goes overseas I often put in orders :). Mainly makeup as it is just so much cheaper (and is something my dad can't mix up - I learnt this lesson when I asked him to find me a YSL cocktail ring and ended up with a glittery 'I love Chicago' T-shirt. I actually do love Chicago but that's beside the point). Anyway this time I asked him to bring back a Laura Mercier Undercover Pot. About 6 months ago I got the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and since then I've fallen in love with her makeup. The undercover pot is perfect if your like me and dislike thick foundation. You only need a little of the concealer to cover the reddest spot and the under eye colour is perfect. It even has the translucent powder so it lasts all day. I definitely recommend!

This week is just flying by! I cannot believe it's Wednesday already AND I have a long weekend (half day of work on Friday) to still look forward too. Sunday

Started the day off with a healthy breakfast with the parents at our favourite local cafe. 

This was followed by a walk through the city (literally from one side to the other) with the best friend. We walked so far but it was such a nice day we couldn't resist. Plus at the end we treated ourselves with sushi and Ben and Jerry's ice-cream!

MBFWA - Fashion week here in Australia has been going for the past couple of days. I had the opportunity to catch one of the more unique shows; Hong Kong Style. Four designers from Hong Kong brought their SS 11 collections out and held the only international show of the week. It was really interesting to see their collections and how they differed not only from the Australian Designers but amongst themselves. Definitely one of the most diverse shows I've been too.
