Just booked a holiday to Asia! Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia here I come! As I plan on shopping a lot while I'm there I am trying to cut down the spending. This can be fun because it makes you look at the clothes in your wardrobe and mix them in new ways. Here I paired my Tigerlily pleated shorts with the gold vintage top I bought a few weeks ago. I think Autumn has finally hit Sydney. How do I know this? It was cold enough to pull out my leather jacket. I got this 2 seasons ago and I still love it, the draping front is so unusual and makes it that little bit dressier.

Saturday markets with the best friend
Don't you love when a day you thought would be nothing special actually turns out great? My forgetful friend lost her mobile in the city last night so rather than go to breakfast at our usual place we went back to the city to get her phone. Since we were there we had brunch at a place in Glebe and then went to the markets after. I haven't been to the markets there in so long and forgot how cheap it was! From there we walked to the city where I picked up these great Finders Keepers shorts (They remind me a bit of bloomers) and got our nails done. Kind of lucky she left her phone there in a way?

Last night I went to dinner at Jamie's Italian, Jamie Oliver's restaurant here in Sydney. You can't book but we went fairly early so managed to get a table without waiting. The food was surprisingly cheap and tasted amazing! I had Italian nachos, a vegetarian pasta and chocolate and raspberry brownie. It was such a great experience, will definitely be going back soon.

Yesterday was one of those rare really hot days in the middle of Autumn. It was also Easter Monday so a public holiday! Spent the day down at the local beach. I wore a jumper down there but it was so hot I actually had to buy a tshirt to wear. I found this simple mint one for $10 - bargain!

Recently my boyfriend got sent out to work on the mines, which that means he's now gone most of the time. He finally came back today after 5 weeks of being out there. It's so good to have him back! We had a fairly normal day, a comfort lunch at one of our favourite cafes and an afternoon of watching Arrested Development. Oh and he also bought me back a little something :)
